BIOdiversidade do NOrdeste SETentrional disseminates information on the biodiversity, ecology and conservation of ecosystems in Northeast Brazil in the States of Piauí, Ceará and Maranhão. A particular emphasis  is the Environmental Protection Area of the Rio Parnaíba Delta along the northern coast of the states of Ceara, Piauí and Maranhão.
